A few days after the Vjosa pollution scandal became public, the police took action.

The person responsible for the oil decanting sector in the village of Gorisht, PM, 59 years old, has been prosecuted. It is suspected that oil waste was spilled from this sector.

"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Selenica Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor's Office and initiated criminal proceedings against citizen PM, 59 years old, resident of Vlora, responsible for the oil decantation sector, in the village of Gorisht, Selenica, as it is suspected that oil residues were spilled from this sector in the place called "Përroi i Madh" in Gorisht, causing pollution ," the police announced.
