KPA upholds dismissal of judge Avni Sejdi

The Special Appeals Chamber, KPA, decided on Thursday, June 26, to uphold the Commission's decision to dismiss the judge of the First Instance Administrative Court of Tirana, Avni Sejdi. The decision was taken unanimously by the KPA panel, chaired by Sokol Çomo, with rapporteur Ina Rama and members Albana Shtylla, Mimoza Tasi and Rezarta Schuetz, after reviewing in the consulting room Sejdi's appeal against the Commission's decision. Avni Sejdi began his career in the justice system as an assistant judge in 1996 and in 2000 he was appointed as a judge in the Mirdita Court. In 2007, he was transferred to the Puka Court and from 2013 until his dismissal from office, he served in the Tirana First Instance Administrative Court.
