CIA chief: Iran's nuclear facilities 'severely damaged' by recent

CIA chief John Ratcliffe confirmed that Iran's nuclear facilities have been 'severely damaged' by the recent attacks.

"This includes new intelligence from a historically reliable and accurate source/method that several key Iranian nuclear facilities were destroyed and would have to be rebuilt over the years ," John Ratcliffe wrote in a statement to X.

A US intelligence report was released yesterday, which highlighted that the US attacks did not destroy key components of Iran's nuclear program and only set it back a few months.

Donald Trump rejected the report today, doubling down on the claim that the US has "disappeared" the countries and pushed the program "decades back".

His defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, claimed there was a "political motive" behind the leak.
