Today in the early hours of the morning, residents of Tirana and Durrës were awakened by the tremors of the earthquake,

But, for experts, since Albania is a country with regular seismic activity, earthquakes of this nature are considered normal.

Although unpredictable, further monitoring signals a calming of seismic activity, so there is a call for calm.

But, which are the most vulnerable areas in Albania for seismic activity? Damian Koxhaj answers A2: "Our country has earthquakes both in the south and in the north... but the western area, the coast, is more active."

The tremors this time, although mild, brought back memories of the earthquake of November 26, 2019. Although this time, fortunately, there were no injuries or material damage, they nevertheless reminded us that vigilance and maintaining calm remain valuable.
