Iranian attacks in Qatar, MEPJ calls on Albanians in the Persian Gulf: Show increased caution!

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has appealed to Albanians in the Persian Gulf countries to show increased caution following the recent attack by Iran on the US military base in Qatar.

The MEPJ calls on you to remain in constant contact with the diplomatic and consular representations of Albania in case of emergency or assistance.

"The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs advises Albanian citizens currently in the Persian Gulf countries to follow the announcements of local authorities, to show increased caution and to remain in constant contact with our diplomatic and consular representations ," the MFA announced.

The MEPJ has also made available the emails and contact numbers for the embassies in Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Iran responded to the US attacks by attacking its largest base in the Middle East, located in Qatar. No casualties were reported from Tehran's attack.
