"The recount gave voice to the electoral massacre"/ Teliti: We expect

The Deputy Mayor of Tirana Municipal Council, Dorian Teliti, commented this afternoon on the latest political developments in the country, focusing on the vote recount process from the May 11 elections.

Invited to News 24, the televised speaker described the recount process as positive and bringing a lot of transparency. According to him, the recount process gave voice to the electoral massacre and that now the opposition's expectation is that the election results will be rejected by the ODIHR.

Teliti also said that the manipulations began long before the May 11 elections.

Teliti: The positive recount brings a lot of transparency. The manipulations started long before May 11. The recount is also showing human errors, but this does not deny the fact that the minutes do not match the votes. The manipulations started long before May 11," he said.

He further added that international factors are important in Albanian politics and that the opposition's duty is transparency towards internationals.

Telili also emphasized that the will of the Albanians was alienated in every way and the expectation of the PD-ASHM coalition is the rejection of the elections by the ODIHR.  The result gives a lot of voice to the electoral massacre

We did not use violence or the police, but it was the majority. We were not part of the electoral massacre. The Democratic Party called the Police on May 11, but they did not come. We know very well how important international factors are in Albanian politics. Our duty is to make internationals transparent. Manipulations in the world government would have stopped. I think that the OSCE-ODIHR report should be based on evidence and concrete facts. In the case of the diaspora, we do not have a real figure of citizens who voted in the May 11 elections. The will of the Albanians was alienated in every way. Our expectation, the rejection of the elections by the ODIHR. The result gives a lot of voice to the electoral massacre.
