Early local elections in the hands of the Socialists! Klosi: They will be held

Early local elections will officially be held in three municipalities, more specifically in Mat, Berat and Tepela, because the mayors resigned to run for MP in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

But, instead of the President of the Republic Bajram Begaj saying when these elections will be held, as he will decree a date, the socialists seem to know better.

In a statement to the media, the Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, stated that these elections will be held in the fall and that they have begun work on selecting candidates.

"The three municipalities that are in the race based on the withdrawal of mayors, the Municipality of Mat, Berat and Tepelena, are undoubtedly in the organizational plans of the Socialist Party. We are going to win all three municipalities. We have begun, at least in Mat, the selection of candidates for the renewal of our entire electoral structure, and I believe also in Berat and Tepelena.

"The three municipalities will undoubtedly go to elections and I believe that the period specified in the Code, namely the autumn of this year, is the appropriate period to carry out this process," said Klosi.
