The US bombed Iran/ Rama: I support Trump's sincere efforts!

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted for the first time regarding the Israel-Iran conflict. Rama's reaction comes after the involvement of the United States, which bombed three Iranian nuclear facilities.

Although the US attacks were criticized by the UN and called a dangerous escalation of the conflict, for the head of our government this is not the case.

In a post on "X", Rama describes the attacks as genuine efforts by President Trump to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from ever possessing nuclear weapons, while adding that  'Albania supports his sincere efforts'.

This reaction by Rama seems a bit contradictory, as just a few years ago he described President Trump as a danger to humanity.

Rama's reaction

This is not just another nuclear-armed state. Nor is it simply a dictatorship with nuclear ambitions. This is a theocracy — armed with apocalyptic rhetoric, steeped in endless years of propaganda that portrays free nations as “satanic” and openly calls for their annihilation. By any measure, it is a singular aberration — unlike any nuclear-armed state, regardless of political system.

As a nation that emerged from the abyss of a brutal atheocratic regime, as a proud member of the free world, and as a strategic partner of the United States, Albania strongly supports President Trump's genuine efforts to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from ever possessing nuclear weapons.
