"It was a difficult moment. Boys are more attached to their mothers", Drini Zeqo recounts his parents' separation in "Elevate"

"It was a difficult moment. Boys are more attached to their mothers",

In a candid and touching account on the show "Elevate by Floriana Garo", renowned journalist Drini Zeqo shares for the first time a deep and personal part of his life: his parents' separation.

"I was 19 years old when it happened, while my sister was only 12-13. I was older, but the hardest moment was when I saw that my mother was experiencing it in a bad way. Boys are attached to their mothers..." - he confesses, bringing a sensitivity that is rarely heard from Albanian public figures.

What leaves the most impression is the dignified way his family coped with this separation:
" I was lucky to grow up in a family with well-formed parents, who did not create unnecessary drama. When they realized that it was no longer working, they decided to shake each other's hands."

This is one of the most touching moments of the latest episode of "Elevate", where Drini talks not only about his career and achievements, but also about the personal challenges that have shaped him as a person.
