Veliaj in prison, hackers attack Tirana Municipality website, obtain sensitive

The well-known hacker group "Homeland Justice" has attacked the Tirana Municipality website. In a response on Telegram, they write that they have obtained sensitive data and deleted the servers.

The hackers write that this is a punishment for actions committed by officials of this Municipality, but they have not mentioned names. 

"All these activities were carried out by the Municipality of Tirana, today they are being punished for their actions. We have taken down their website, taken the data and deleted the servers," their message states.

The post is accompanied by images of the official website of the Municipality of Tirana, and several coded messages.

"Yes , you were right ," a message reads.

" Over 3,000 terrorists were imposed on Albania. Albanian soil was forced to shelter these devastated wretches . It is understandable for the hospitable Albanians. We hope that the Iranians (who now have the legal right to launch their "supernatural" missiles at the Manza camp) understand this," another message reads.

It is not yet known why hackers attacked the Tirana Municipality, while we recall that the head of the latter, Erion Veliaj, is in prison after being accused of corruption and undeclared assets.
