Iran confirms meeting with representatives of Britain, Germany and France

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed on Thursday that he will meet with his British, French and German counterparts, as well as the European Union's top diplomat, on Friday in Geneva.

He said the meeting had come at the request of three European states.

The meeting represents a potential diplomatic breakthrough after five days of Israeli bombing, and is the first face-to-face diplomatic meeting since the start of the crisis.
