Montenegrin arrested in Spain for involvement in a structured criminal group

A 43-year-old Montenegrin man has been arrested in Spain and is wanted by authorities in Podgorica for participation in a criminal group.

The Podgorica Court had imposed the security measure 'prison arrest' on him in April 2025 for involvement in criminal activities within a structured criminal group.

"Citizen DF, 43 years old, wanted by Montenegrin authorities for participation in a criminal organization with activities in the field of narcotics, was arrested in Spain by the police authorities of this country.

His capture was made possible as a result of close cooperation between FAST Albania, FAST Spain and FAST Montenegro, through the European cooperation network ENFAST.

The Podgorica Court had assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" to citizen DF in April 2025, for strong suspicions of involvement in criminal activity within a structured criminal group, the police announced.
