Israel strikes National Police headquarters in Iran, several injured reported

The situation in the Middle East continues to escalate, after an Israeli airstrike hit buildings near the headquarters of Iran's National Police in Tehran today, according to the Iranian state news agency IRNA.

Official reports from Tehran confirm several injuries as a result of the strike, which Iranian authorities describe as part of the "continuous aggression of the usurping and brutal Zionist regime."

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz earlier stated that Israeli Air Force jets "destroyed the Iranian regime's public security headquarters, the main repressive branch of the Iranian dictator."

Iranian state media had previously reported that an Israeli attack occurred near a Red Crescent facility in Tehran.

The headquarters of the National Law Enforcement Command is on the same street as the Red Crescent facility.
