Appeal of the Criminal Court of Kosovo returns the former prosecutor of Saranda

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has today taken the final decision in the case against defendant Sali Hasa.

The Appeals Court of Kosovo has decided to return the former prosecutor to prison, upholding the previous First Instance decision, which found him guilty of passive corruption in the justice system.

Hasa was sentenced to 2 years and 4 months in prison, which was converted to probation. The remaining part of the sentence, according to the decision of the Appeals Chamber of the Criminal Court of Kosovo, must be served in prison.
