Vote recount for Tirana, Ilir Alimehmeti also present in the process

The vote recount process continues at the “Fahrie Hoti” Sports Palace. Currently, 1,282 ballot boxes in the Tirana District are being reviewed.

Also present in the process is Ilir Alimehmeti, the candidate of the DP-ASHM, who failed to secure the mandate of MP from the vote count after May 11.

The SP, the DP, the Opportunity and Albania Becomes will have observers to monitor the recount.

The process is expected to cost 21 million new lekë, but Ilirjan Celibashi said that the CEC will not request additional budget.
