Socially dangerous person, 27-year-old arrested in Pogradec

A 27-year-old man in Pogradec has been arrested after being considered a high-risk person.

Citizen FM was carrying firearms and distributing narcotics. The 27-year-old was found and seized with ammunition, weapons, bank cards, passport, as well as his vehicle.

"As a result of the maximum commitment of the services of the Korça Local Police Directorate and the uninterrupted work, thanks to the cooperation with the citizens, for a citizen who possessed firearms and distributed narcotics in the city of Pogradec, a citizen with a criminal record, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, the Serious Crimes and Eagles Section, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Cold Hand".

During the operation, the Operational Services of the Korça DVP arrested and handcuffed citizen FM, 27 years old, resident of Pogradec, with social danger.

During the physical search, vehicle search and apartment search in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, citizen FM was found in a handbag with a metal bar with the inscription "Police", 2 pistol firearms, 1 silencer, 3 combs, 1 metal stick, a package of suspected cocaine, 5 mobile phones, 2 bank cards, 1 biometric passport and a sum of money (lek, euros and Australian dollars).

"His vehicle was also seized ," the police announced.
