A 54-year-old man has been arrested by the Police in Tirana after being accused of participating in a criminal group.

Bledar Bedini alias Bledar Imami has been arrested, who has been sentenced in Milan to 7 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Importing and possession of narcotic substances", committed within the framework of a criminal organization.

Bledar Bedini alias Bledar Imami will be extradited to Italy.

Police Notification

As a result of a well-organized operational work, carried out in coordination with Italian counterparts, after the exchange of information through the structures of Interpol Tirana, with Interpol Rome, the Search Section, during this phase of the operation "The Wanted", captured and arrested with the aim of extradition to Italy, the Albanian citizen, declared internationally wanted, Bledar Bedini alias Bledar Imami, 54 years old.

The Milan court has sentenced the 54-year-old to 7 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Importation and possession of narcotic substances", committed within the framework of a criminal organization.

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, is continuing the procedure for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
