Two foreign citizens arrested in Dhërmi for selling narcotics

A 30-year-old man from Malaysia and a 22-year-old man from the United Kingdom have been arrested by police in Dhërmi, after being accused of selling narcotics in tourist areas.

As a result of the checks carried out by the police, 2 cases of drug sales were detected, for which the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

During the search of the apartment premises, several doses of suspected narcotics, cannabis sativa and cocaine, were found and seized.

Intensive controls in coastal areas, 2 cases of drug sales in Dhërmi are detected.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Vlora Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Dhërmi Police Station, within the framework of the plan of measures to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, especially in tourist areas, have conducted increased controls in the village of Dhërmi.

As a result of the checks carried out, 2 cases of drug sales were detected, for which the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

JS, 30 years old, Malaysian citizen, who was staying in an apartment in the village of Dhërmi. During the search of the apartment premises, several doses of suspected narcotics cannabis sativa and cocaine were found and seized;

OS, 22 years old, British citizen, who during a physical search in Dhërmi, was found to have several doses of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine and several ecstasy tablets, which were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
