A 34-year-old Albanian, identified as Shpendi Malo, has been declared an international wanted man after being suspected of being the perpetrator of a murder that occurred in 2019 in Germany.

Foreign media reports that Malo is the suspected perpetrator of the murder of a 27-year-old Albanian man in a wooded area in Halle, Germany. According to German police, the 34-year-old Albanian stabbed his compatriot and then threw his body into a canal and covered it with tree leaves.

The body was discovered only four days later by passersby, who notified the authorities and investigations revealed that the 27-year-old had been murdered by Shpendi Malo.

According to foreign media reports, the perpetrator left Germany immediately after the crime and was placed on an international wanted list. He is on Europol's list of the 20 most wanted criminals in Europe.

According to Chief Public Prosecutor Cernota, the investigation is still ongoing for unintentional murder. However, this does not exclude the possibility that the murder will be investigated at a later date.

So far, there is no trace of the wanted man, and authorities have raised suspicions that he may have taken refuge in Albania.
