Martin Cani's mother has spoken out about the video of the tragic moment her 14-year-old son was stabbed to death in the heart. The video was released a few days ago in the media.

The mother of the deceased 14-year-old told News24 that she was unaware of the existence of the footage. She said the video has caused her great psychological trauma.

"We have a lot of pain. I've been on depression medication for a long time. Little by little I'm trying to turn the pain into strength. But a video appeared that we didn't know existed.

I was surprised because I thought it was a video we had seen, it was a very strong psychological shock. It was just me, my husband and Henri at home.

"I explained it to Henry, and he has already understood that Martin is no longer alive. We try to keep him alive with his beautiful memories. We didn't know about the existence of the video before. We didn't know about it even in court ," she said.
