The CEC begins the vote recount for four districts tomorrow

 

The Central Election Commission (CEC) will begin tomorrow, June 17 at 09:00, the official recount process of 2,323 polling stations, following the decision of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS).

The recount also includes 85 ballot boxes from the diaspora and will take place at the premises of the "Farie Hoti" Sports Palace in Tirana. The process will be organized in 24 tables with 24 special counting groups and will be broadcast 'live' on the CEC's social networks, guaranteeing transparency for the public.

The regions involved in this process are Tirana, Durrës, Fier and Elbasan.

Only subjects that were legitimized by the KAS during the review of appeal requests have the right to have observers during the recount.

The recount by the CEC begins tomorrow, June 17, 2025 at 09:00.

Following the KAS decision, the CEC officially begins the recount of 2,323 voting centers (including 85 ballot boxes from voting abroad).

The recount will take place at the "Farie Hoti" Sports Palace, Tirana, with LIVE broadcast on the CEC's social networks.

Only legitimate entities will have observers during the process of reviewing appeals, specifically:

1. Elbasan Region, DP-ASHM Coalition and Socialist Party;

2. Fier Region, DP-ASHM Coalition, Socialist Party and Nisma - Albania Becomes Coalition;

3. Durrës Region, DP-ASHM Coalition and Socialist Party;

4. Tirana Region, DP-ASHM Coalition, Socialist Party and Opportunity;
