US President Donald Trump has vowed that Iran and Israel "will make a deal" to stop their conflict, insisting that "many calls and meetings are taking place right now" to convince both sides to stop the fighting.
"Iran and Israel should make a deal, and they will make a deal, just like I made India and Pakistan do," Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday morning. He also cited the longstanding hostility between Serbia and Kosovo, and between Egypt and Ethiopia, which flared during his first term in office, CNN writes .
"Also, we will have PEACE, soon, between Israel and Iran! Many calls and meetings are taking place now," Trump wrote.
"I do a lot, and I never take credit for anything, but that's okay, the PEOPLE understand. MAKE THE MIDDLE EAST GREAT AGAIN!"
