50 UT professors reported to SPAK: Begaj and Manastirli should be investigated

Pedagogue and former Deputy Minister of Education Taulant Muka has filed a 400-page plagiarism file with SPAK against the rector of the University of Tirana Artan Hoxha, and over 50 professors at the UT, the Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu, President Bajram Begaj and the Ombudsman Erinda Ballanca.

In a Facebook post, Muka writes that he has filed a complaint with the Special Prosecution Office and expects the senior officials he denounced to be investigated for a structured criminal group in higher education.

Muka further emphasizes that now it is up to the judiciary to set standards for Albanian education and science.

"First day in Tirana. I just filed a file with over 400 pages at SPAK on plagiarism for the rector of UT and over 50 professors at UT, the Minister of Education, the President and the Ombudsman with the request for an investigation into a structured criminal group in higher education. Now the word remains with the justice system whether it will set standards for Albanian education and science!", writes Muka on Facebook.
