An administrator and manager of a gas station in Himara were arrested by the police after supplying fuel to various vessels without using a cash register.

The police explain that during the inspection, it was found that representatives of this entity were selling around 6,000 liters of gasoline to the owners/users of vessels located in this port, by autobot, without automatic fiscal equipment, in violation of the law on fiscalization.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.

Police Announcement:

Specialists from the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, of the Vlora Police Department, after receiving information that a hydrocarbons sales entity was carrying out illegal activities in the port of Himara, organized the work and exercised control over this entity.

During the inspection, it was found that representatives of this entity were selling around 6,000 liters of gasoline to the owners/users of vessels located in this port, by autobot, without automatic fiscal equipment, in violation of the law on fiscalization.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens SK, 40 years old, resident of Kruja, fuel administrator, and MR, 51 years old, resident of Himara, fuel manager, in Himara.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
