Recount in Tirana, Alimehmeti: There is evidence that there were problems in

The Democratic candidate for deputy in the Tirana district, Ilir Alimehmeti, states that from the videos that the CEC sent to the DP headquarters, it appears that there were problems at every voting center in the capital for the May 11 elections.

Invited to Syri TV, he said that the May 11 elections cannot be trusted because, according to him, numerous camera footage in each CEAZ shows people taking ballot papers, taking them out, and inserting ballot papers brought from abroad.

"We must be clear that the real evidence is the CEC videos first and then what happened with the ballots, they have been left there for a month. We have footage from the voting center that we see, many people present with people entering the box, with ballots coming out with some, who gets four, throw three with some who gets two and so on. Of course, the credibility in this process is extremely low.

So in this aspect, Tirana certainly cannot be excluded, but it is still too early because it is a very large region. And to talk about a specific CEAZ such as the Municipality of Kamza and this is not over and must still continue in the counting in the Paskuqan area, it is too early to draw a conclusion, we are saying from this part here. What has been noticed is that there are errors plus or minus, so every voting center results in problems, why have they come for an analysis.

When it comes to the end, we will have a full analysis. To be honest, there should have been more observers from the political force, not just one, as one is allowed per monitor, it is too few for such processes, so there would have been a need for more. At the same time, I remember that the mandates and candidates of the open list are also being counted, which means that the difficulty is greater for both the counting group and the observers. There were all possibilities. There were only two counters, not four, and the number of observers was only 8, so we have a reduction from the political forces.

I think there is a reason why this has been reduced so much. It could have been two people, from each political force, for each box, for each table. I believe there is a reason for this, because it gives you the opportunity to stand, because one person cannot stand and thank all our observers, who are standing there, it is becoming 10 hours at this moment. A person needs to move a little during the day, they need a little break. "said Alimehmeti.
