This Wednesday, the next session was held at the GJKKO for "Gërdecin", a file in which former Defense Minister Fatmir Mediu is accused of abuse of office and violation of procedures in establishing the dismantling factory.

During the hearing, Mediu objected to the expert report presented by the group of experts.

The former minister requested that the court take into account the testimonies of political and military figures of the time given in the US, also noting a letter that 6 American congressmen have sent to the Ministry of Justice.

This action by Mediu comes after the GJKKO rejected their summons as witnesses. The next hearing for Mediu is set for June 24, at 1:00 PM.
