Albanian man dies in hospital after accident in Italy

Albanian Betim Bilangu, 50 years old, has died in a Milan hospital after a serious road accident that occurred on Tuesday on the Brebemi highway.

Bilangu was driving a heavy-duty van, which collided with a truck that was exiting a parking lot.

The collision was severe and his condition was assessed as critical at the scene.

Despite rapid emergency intervention and transport by helicopter to Niguarda Hospital, he died shortly after arrival.

The victim was the father of three children.
