Recount/Electoral College Case: Notary of CEC decisions rushed to close the

The Electoral College rejected the Democratic Party's requests for electoral invalidity, certifying May 11.

The elected DP MP and at the same time Secretary for Electoral and Legal Affairs, Ivi Kaso, told A2 CNN that the Electoral College has been the notary of the CEC's decisions.

"It is unfortunately a test that the Electoral College has not passed, there has been great curiosity about how this College elected before May 11 would rise to the occasion or not. This college has unfortunately chosen to continue in the shameful tradition of the previous college, which was only a notary of any result or claim from the CEC ," said Kaso.

The Democrat emphasized that trust in the Electoral College has been lost, raising questions about the existence of this institution.

"It rushed to close the process quickly, perhaps to avoid burning the vacations that the judges have reserved. This is the most shameful behavior that such an institution, endowed with such great responsibility and such great expectations, can commit, and I believe it is the best premise for the future electoral reform to carefully consider the existence of a body that, with its own behavior, has proven itself to be unnecessary in the electoral process," Kaso declared.
