The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has harshly accused the former Secretary General of the SMI, Endrit Braimllari, of direct responsibility in the lobbying issue, which is currently being investigated by SPAK.

Through a post on social media, Meta writes that he is being held in "extreme isolation" due to the signatures cast by Braimllari on behalf of the LSI during the period 2018–2019, a time when he was President of the Republic and not party chairman.

" Endrit Braimllari is the most vivid example of how SPAK manages to convert people without character into worthy "rebirthers" - liars. Only a "rebirther" can forget the signatures he himself has cast and the reasons for which he cast them. An ordinary liar, who tries to hide behind oblivion, but the truth is not hidden either by wordplay or by converting party cards.

The signature for the LSI lobbying in the period 2018–2019 belongs to Endrit Braimllari. At that time, I was not the chairman of the LSI, but the President of the Republic. For his signatures, I remain in extreme isolation, while Endrit is "promoted" to the position of vice-chairman of the Tirana Municipal Council. Or is it perhaps Altin Dumani who is lying in the official letter signed by him?" , writes Meta.
