Kurti supports US strike: International security needs fewer nuclear weapons

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reacted after the US strike on Iran.

In a Facebook post, Kurti supports US President Donald Trump's move, emphasizing that the world needs fewer nuclear weapons.

"International security needs fewer nuclear weapons, not more nuclear bombs that endanger all of humanity. Especially when authoritarian states develop programs to equip themselves with nuclear weapons, this issue becomes urgent and alarming."

The Republic of Kosovo supports the position of the United States and the European Union regarding Iran's program to acquire nuclear weapons.

"The United States is our main ally, irreplaceable partner and special friend. The Republic of Kosovo is strongly determined to defend democratic and Euro-Atlantic values. The United States is the democratic superpower that must be supported," Kurti writes.
