A fight that escalated into a physical altercation was recorded this Sunday in Italy. The incident took place in Santeramo (Bari) where two Albanians physically clashed with several police officers.

According to foreign media reports , officers received information that a drunk person had stopped in front of a bar and was vandalizing a parked vehicle.

The patrol intervened, but the first carabinieri who approached the 46-year-old Albanian was subjected to physical violence. The police also used pepper spray on the aggressor, but the second Albanian, 25, intervened, who also punched, slapped and kicked the officers.

Further reinforcements were required to handcuff the two suspects and isolate them in a cell. After investigative actions and legal evaluation, the court placed both aggressors under house arrest, pending trial.
