Democratic MP Albana Vokshi, this Monday, denounced another case of the May 11 electoral massacre. 

During her speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Vokshi confessed that in Vora on election day, not only she but also her daughter were threatened by people who had been denounced for murder and drug trafficking and showed up at the polling stations.

The Democratic MP said that she has also filed a report regarding the case with SPAK and the police, but neither of the latter has intervened. 

Vokshi: I have participated in many elections, but I have never seen an election massacre like this. In Vora, I was threatened by people who had been reported for murder and drug trafficking and showed up at the polling stations. My daughter was threatened by these people. Even though there was a report to SPAK and the police, no one intervened. Even now these people are free and I fear for my daughter. I ask you again, are these elections free when women candidates are threatened? Should we remain silent in the face of threats from our families? Of course not.. We should not tolerate, we should maintain an atmosphere where women can do politics and serve with dignity.
