Socialists are preparing for early elections in 3 municipalities, avoiding

The socialist majority has begun preparations for early elections in 3 municipalities.

This concerns the municipalities of Mat, Tepelena and Berat, as their mayors ran on the SP list for the May 11 parliamentary elections. 

In an interview with A2 CNN, Secretary General Blendi Klosi confirmed that elections are expected to be held in the fall.  

"I believe the period specified in the code, namely the fall of this year, is the appropriate period to carry out this process," said Klosi.

There is still no decision from the majority for Tirana, as, according to sources, judicial processes are pending. The Socialists in the capital's Municipal Council have not considered the Democrats' request to make a decision on Veliaj's absence of more than 4 months.
