State Matura/ Today is the exam for elective subjects, the last one for this

Over 27,000 high school graduates will take their final exam today, that of elective subjects, depending on the profile followed during high school.

The subjects included in this exam are divided into several areas: Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civics and Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology), as well as Economics and Arts (Economics, Art History, Music History, Ballet History).

The exam will be held in high school facilities that meet the conditions set out in the State Matura Regulation.

Students must report at 08:30, while the exam starts at 10:00 and ends at 12:30.

The Ministry of Education has set a series of rules for the conduct of the exam. All high school graduates must have a means of identification (ID card or passport) and be dressed properly, preferably in school uniform.

The use of mobile phones, smart watches and any other technological devices is prohibited during the exam. The test must be completed with a single-color pen and the high school graduates are required to sign upon receipt and submission of the test. High school graduates are not allowed to leave the exam hall before 12:30.

This exam officially concludes the State Matura cycle for 2025. Previously, high school graduates took the Foreign Language, Albanian Language and Literature, and Mathematics exams, where the results for the first two have also been released.

As in previous years, the exam test was published online while high school graduates were still taking the exam, but the Ministry of Education justified it with claims that this did not harm the process.
