May 11/ Nuri: The vote 'died' before it was cast in the box

Lawyer Franc Nuri commented on the post-election situation and the vote recount process.

Nuri said on "Kafe Shqeto" that the request for the invalidation of the elections is based on a series of documented irregularities.

According to him, the recount in various districts, including Tirana, aims to support the legitimate demands of the DP candidates and to identify manipulations.

Nuri: It is such a situation that we have requested the invalidation of the elections and based on this fact, the recount of votes in certain districts, including the Tirana district, had the impact of fulfilling the demands of various DP candidates.

Candidates who rightfully requested, in some cases where they had documented footage, demanded their right to see how their votes had moved.

This also served the DP to substantiate the movement of votes, the various irregularities that had occurred on May 11, even though this was the tip of the iceberg and we have said that the electoral process or farce of May 11 did not begin that day, but earlier.

So, the vote 'died' before it was cast in the ballot box, due to the machinery of power or propaganda, as well as the financial maneuvers that the Albanian state has made available and has made its effort to alienate the will of the Albanians.

I also gave an example yesterday in the Electoral College, where I was the representative of the DP for two issues, that of the Vlora district or Berat, where even the judges behave as if they do not live in Albania.

They act as if giving a 100 euro bonus to every pensioner would have an extraordinary impact, but that's not the case.

It's like if in France or Germany the government comes out before the elections and says: "We'll give you 400-500 euros," because that's how much they are. Because if in Albania a pensioner whose pension is 200 euros maximum, if you give them 100 euros, half of their pension will be lost.

It's like the French president coming out and saying, "I'll give you 500 euros each," because there's a 1,200 euro pension. So, calculate for yourself what impact it will have on the public.

Are elections in a democratic state called fair if the government waters them with public money a few weeks before the election?
