The Special Prosecution Office has again postponed the investigations into former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj by 3 months in connection with the incinerators case.
This is the fourth time this has happened, after the investigation was postponed 3 months ago. SPAK has until September 23rd to investigate the file of the former deputy prime minister on the run.
The reason is that all responses to the letters of request sent by the investigative body to Switzerland have not yet arrived.
Ahmetaj is being investigated under security measures in absentia, regarding charges of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets, within the incinerators case.
