The process has stalled at the election of the Speaker of the Assembly. VV has proposed Albulena Haxhiu for this position, who is being considered a 'divisive figure' by other parties.

After several failures to elect her, for several weeks now there has been an attempt to change the form of voting for her election, to be secret. Other parties are against it.

PDK, LDK, AAK and the Serbian List have not proposed any members for the Secret Voting Commission.

Every time this Commission is put to a vote, it fails due to lack of a quorum.

"With 53 votes in favor, one against, and no abstentions, the Assembly did not have a quorum for decision-making," was the result of the last session.

The same situation is expected today. The session will start at 11:00.

The vice-chair and MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Hykmete Bajrami, said tonight that they are tired of giving way to the incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.

Bajrami said that Kurti and the Vetevendosje Movement are acting with the logic of the votes they received in the 2021 elections.
