SPAK announces the claim for "Sterilization", seeks 10-year sentences

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office is seeking 10 years in prison for Deputy Minister of Health, Klodian Rrjepaj, and businessman Ilir Rrapaj.

SPAK announced today the plea for Rrapaj and Rrjepaj. With the application of the summary trial, they will serve 6 years and 8 months in prison.

Rrjepaj and Rrapaj are accused of "theft by abuse of office", "structured criminal group" and "forgery of documents".

The Special Prosecution Office requested 3 years and 6 months in prison for former officials Marsela Serjanaj, Sajmir Kadiu and Petref Mersini. 3 years and 6 months/2 years and 4 months, which upon application of the summary trial is suspended and converted into 4 years of probation.

For Arben Gjata, he requested 1 year and 4 months, which upon application for summary judgment is suspended and converted into 3 years of probation. Genc Byrazer and Naile Ajazi are also converted into 2 years of probation.
