NAME/ The assets of the businessman in Gjirokastra are seized! How Berisha

The police have seized this Wednesday the assets of businessman Katan Baho alias Sokrat Baho, a resident of Gjirokastra, as they are suspected of having benefited from criminal activity.

The Blues report that buildings, businesses, as well as 8 vehicles and an Audi Q7 have been seized. A bar-cafe and a four-story hotel in the "18 Shtartori" neighborhood have also been seized.

"A seizure is being placed on assets (buildings, businesses and vehicles) that are suspected of having benefited from the criminal activity of citizen KB, alias SB, 45 years old, resident of the village of Valare, Gjirokastër, in the field of narcotics trafficking," the police announced. 

But businessman Baho was denounced years ago by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, as being implicated in drug trafficking.

In 2019, Berisha denounced on his Facebook the connections of the businessman accused of drug trafficking with the police director and customs director at the time.
