The reopening of the ballot boxes reduced the number of votes of the Democratic candidate, Ilir Alimehmeti, after they were deemed invalid. In this regard, Alimehmeti accuses the Complaints and Sanctions Commission of the CEC of being part of the manipulation of the result, by incorrectly reading the ballots.

"Those who are used to putting their hands in continue to influence the counters. "This is part of the candidate's analysis or even at the district level. But there is always room for better," Alimehmeti told Top Channel.
