MP Dashnor Sula has once again brought to attention this Thursday the scourge of depopulation and the departure of young people from the country.

During his speech in the Assembly, Sula said that the state has not been able to create conditions that motivate young people to stay in Albania.

He asked for concrete policies such as providing housing loans for young people and working conditions. He also asked if the community has been asked about the changes taking place in the labor market, as there are many foreigners, and whether there are any E-Albania regulations, such that foreigners can use it.

Sula:  We have not been able to keep young people in the country. Neither the majority nor the opposition has been able to do this. There are as many job vacancies in Albania as you want, but Albanians have left, because the conditions are not such that young people feel good. Albania is aging. Young people should be given the opportunity to have a flat with a soft loan. If we have a large influx of foreigners, there is a risk that young men and women in Albania will lose their jobs. Is e-Albania usable for foreigners who come to Albania to work? Has the community been asked about the changes that are taking place, when we have enough young foreign men and women in the Albanian market? The Labor Code should protect workers in tourism and agriculture. Foreign workers should have their rights. Albania's population is decreasing drastically and this is a disaster, and it should not be allowed.
