DP MP Asllan Dogjani states that the May 11 elections showed a deformed will of Albanian citizens, which according to him was legitimized as theft by the Complaints and Sanctions Commission itself.

In an interview with Syri TV, Dogjani said that KAS used two standards during the vote recount process, favoring the Socialist Party.

For Dogjani, the KAS's double standards were used with the sole purpose of legitimizing the vote and pressure, as if to say that in this process we are all equal.

Dogjani: We see a deformed will of the citizens. During the recount of May 11, the theft by KAS was legitimized. I am one of the people who appealed the process, to see the consequences of that electoral campaign. I saw how the cross was placed by the same hand on the ballot paper, I saw the Bulgarian train. During the recount, I analyzed the footage, I saw that the vote was deformed. In these conditions of vote deformation, which is the permission, it was done in many cases that the votes of the DP had passed to the SP, I filed the appeal.

During the recount, a vote that was clearly expressed cannot be considered invalid, and this was done by the KAS, which declared the invalidity. All the votes that the KAS counted today, with the closing of the recount, result in votes added to the DP on May 11, categorically not. These were considered invalid by the commissioners on May 11.

With the same standards when we contested the SP votes, they considered our vote invalid. Two standards are used to legitimize the May 11 vote. There may be human errors, but the KAS had a duty to investigate and impose sanctions. Not to make invalid decisions contrary to what the counters were trained to do. These standards were used to legitimize the vote, the pressure and to say that here we are all the same.

Even though today they have closed a recount of votes, this battle for the truth will not stop. The DP will produce every piece of evidence, and the battle will continue. We will not give up, it is the beginning of the end of the SP. After 12 years of managing to manipulate votes, in a country like Albania where Albanians have fled without receiving the right to vote, justice or what is due to them, because we are in a dictatorship.

In the security committee, an initiative was passed on the legality of 'disinformation' for agitation and propaganda. They are trying to change this dictatorship, they cannot change this method. It is not the votes of the citizens of Tirana, it is not their representatives. Every party faced with a party of corruption, what should the opposition do?!
