Pollution of the Vjosa River, Shehu: The regime is degrading it in the function

MP Tritan Shehu reacted this Friday regarding the severe pollution of the Vjosa River.

In a reaction on social media, Shehu writes that the Vjosa has been severely polluted by corruption right at the entrance to the Albanian border. The MP says that the Vjosa is not only polluted by oil but also by the sewage of villages, cities and inhabited areas on both sides of the river. 

Shehu writes that this is a result of the lack of care and investment by the Ministry of Tourism, while he has raised accusations that, according to him, this regime is degrading Vjosa in the function of corruption, without accountability and cynicism.

Reaction of MP, Tritan Shehu:

Corruption has severely polluted the Vjosa River right at the entrance to the Albanian border.  It's not just the pollution in the oil-bearing areas.

All the sewage from cities, villages, residential areas on both sides of the river flows into the wonderful, unique Vjosa and its tributaries.  No care or investment from this regime, which in the Gjirokastra region is represented by Lubi Kumbaro, MP and Minister of the Environment.

Furthermore, the waste collection areas, outside any standards, used and controlled by their mafia.  Allowed against any standards with Lubia's signature.

That they dump everything there that is polluted and destructive to the environment, fauna, and living beings.  Pouring money into the pockets of that mafia, local and national.

This is the bitter truth of that national park river.  That this regime is degrading it in the function of corruption, without accountability and its cynicism!
