Alizoti: Here's when the internal analysis in the DP will begin

Democratic MP Tomor Alizoti spoke about the political situation after the May 11 parliamentary elections and the mistakes of the Democratic Party during the process.

Alizoti, invited to News24, said that he himself has made many personal mistakes, emphasizing that the DP also has its flaws. However, according to him, the current political and electoral system is such that fair elections cannot be held.

 " With this system that has been built, there is no choice. It's not just the electoral code, but it's an army of power that makes victory impossible anywhere," he said.

The Democratic MP emphasized the importance of preserving democracy by the state and the people, warning that if this balance is not maintained, democracy is very fragile and quickly breaks.

Regarding the internal analysis in the DP, Alizoti said that it will be carried out after the party structures decide and after the denunciations for the elections are completed.

"I agree that we should wait for the completion of the denunciations process and then the time will come for reflection and analysis," he concluded.
