A year after his father's death, the famous former footballer also passes

Renowned former footballer, Albano Vaso, has passed away at the age of 56.

He made a great contribution to the Skënderbeg club and was a respected figure in the sports and civic community.

A year ago, in March, his father, the legend of elite Korçë and national football, Teodor Vaso, passed away.

For several years, Vaso has been considered one of the best players on the national team during his time on the field.

The hero of the Albanian national team will be remembered for many special episodes in his life, but the most special was the 1967 match, when he played for 30 minutes with a bruised and swollen leg against the Federal Republic of Germany.
