The local police announce that together with RF (M), 44 years old, the director of the Vlora Municipal Police is being investigated, suspected of the criminal offense of "Abuse of office".

Illegally occupied public space in Vlora is being vacated.

A citizen is being prosecuted for illegally occupying this space, turning it into a private parking lot.

The structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, specifically the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes and the Vlora Police Commissariat, with the support of the Municipal Police, have carried out field checks with the aim of vacating illegally occupied public spaces used as private parking lots for a fee.

During the inspections, in the area called the former "Navy School", in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, a case was identified where signs and electrical beams were placed in a public space to be used as a private parking lot with the aim of generating income.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office and criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen RF (M), 44 years old, resident of Vlora, suspected of the criminal offenses "Land occupation" and "Hiding income".

With the support of the Municipal Police, vehicles parked in these spaces were towed away with a tow truck, in order to free up public space.

Also, materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office regarding citizen EI, 30 years old, serving as director of the Vlora Municipal Police, who is suspected of not having performed his duty to stop this case of illegality.
