A mountain hike turned into a tragedy in Val Passiria. Gezim Iljazi, originally from Albania and resident of the province of Rovigo, lost his life after falling from a height of about 100 meters.
According to initial information from the Italian media , he was alone near the Stulle waterfalls, but around noon, he fell into the abyss.
Witnesses said that they first saw the bag fall and then Iljazi himself.
It is thought that after passing the most difficult segment, he may have dropped the bag and fallen while trying to pick it up again.
