Controversies at a distance, English MP replies to Rama: 1 in 48 Albanians in

British MP Nigel Farage has responded again to Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding immigrants sentenced in the United Kingdom.

In a reaction on the "X" network, Farage writes that 1 in 48 Albanians living in the United Kingdom is imprisoned.

The British legislator even says he will work to deport them to Albania.

"Dear Edi Rama. There are 53,000 Albanians in the United Kingdom and 1,099 of them are in our prisons. In fact, that is 1 in 48. I will ask the Home Secretary to arrange for all these prisoners to be returned to you. Thank you for your cooperation," he said in his response to Prime Minister Rama.

Rama reacted earlier by saying that Farage's claim that " one in 50 Albanians in Britain are in prison" is not fact, but absurd and that 'this is a typical tactic from the post-Brexit playbook'.

Recall that Rama publicly challenged Farage, saying: “Now, since we both seem to value ‘goodwill’ and are clearly allergic to ‘hypocrisy,’ I have an offer: Bring both of our numbers to the table. If your ‘one in 50’ claim holds up — I personally commit to taking them all back. This is not a competitive headline, it’s a public promise. But if that scary statistic turns out to be just tabloid fuel, I make no apologies. No drama. Instead, you will come to Albania — as my guest of honor.”
