A case of undeclared money has been cracked at the Port of Durres. The police have initiated proceedings for the Kosovar citizens, EH, 41 years old, and FM, 37 years old.

During the check, two citizens were found to have a total of 22,820 Swiss francs and 555 euros hidden in their bodies, which they were attempting to bring into Albania without declaring at the border crossing point.

The amount of money was seized by the Police, with the quality of material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border".
