A serious incident occurred this Monday afternoon in the city of Berat.

A construction worker has died after allegedly falling from the third floor of a building under construction.

According to the police, the victim has been identified as RH, 66 years old, a resident of Berat, an employee of a construction company. He was urgently transported to the hospital, but unfortunately did not survive the injuries he sustained.

"Around 15:30, it is suspected that the construction company employee, citizen RH, 66 years old, resident of Berat, fell from the third floor of a building under construction, in the "Kushtrimi" neighborhood. As a result, he lost his life in hospital.  The investigation team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the case," the Police announced.
